At HOPEHI, our Event Planning service is more than just organizing gatherings — it’s about creating meaningful, collaborative experiences that strengthen the fabric of our community. We partner with local businesses, residents, civic leaders, and elected officials to design and host events that inspire community engagement, unity, and empowerment.
The WELL Project is a year-long community wellness and education initiative hosted by HOPEHI, designed to empower underserved Alabamians through holistic support programs. This project focuses on three key pillars—Health Education, Mental and Physical Wellness, and Life skills Training—to improve the quality of life in the communities we serve. Through workshops, outreach events, and hands-on activities, participants will gain knowledge of practical health foods, learn preventive care practices, and build essential life and job readiness skills. This initiative is set to launch in January 2026.
“Restoring Roots” is a community-centered housing initiative led by Helping Our People Express HOPE Inc. This project will provide critical repairs and rehabilitation for 12–15 low- and very-low-income homeowners in Tuskegee, prioritizing elderly residents, individuals with disabilities, and families with children. This initiative is currently in the planning and funding phase as we lay the groundwork for its successful launch.
